A George III Welsh yew chair

A rare George III Welsh yew armchair of generous proportions carved with a circle and four hearts centered on a roundel. This unique vernacular chair has pegged joints and each piece has been individually carved and crafted was obviously made as a special one off statement. The heart motifs were common a common motif with Welsh love spoons and boxes.
